Ingredients:
- 1 1/2 to 2 c. unsweetened almond milk (or sub milk of your choice)
- 1 ripe avocado
- 1/2 c. frozen spinach (fresh is fine too, I use frozen because I like my shakes cold)
- 3/4 T. vanilla extract
- 1 tsp. powdered stevia
- 5 drops liquid stevia
- 1 tsp. peppermint extract
- 1 tsp. unsweetened cocoa or cacao powder
- Ice (~6 to 8 ice cubes)
Directions:
- Blend milk with avocado, spinach, extracts and sweeteners until spinach is liquefied.
- Add cocoa powder and pulse.
- Add ice and blend
- Top with homemade whip cream and or chocolate chips or cacao nibs if you'd like!
I can't wait until you are here and can make smoothies for us! Well, at least show me how so I can make some! And at least Leah didn't puke.
